Coaching & Consulting for First-Gen Families
\nYou got yourself here. You shouldn't have to figure out what's next alone.
\nGreen Sapling helps immigrant and first-generation students and job seekers navigate the US school and career system — high school, college applications, career networking, the job search — with someone who's actually been through it.
\nWhy Green Sapling
\nSomeone who's actually navigated it
\nMy parents immigrated to the US from Cambodia and Korea when they were in middle school. There was no guidance counselor for them, no relative who'd already done the FAFSA, no one to explain how an American résumé is supposed to look. They figured it out anyway — my dad went on to study chemical engineering at Penn State and build a career at Johnson & Johnson, and together they raised a family of two kids who both ended up at Pennsylvania universities ourselves.
\nI've since worked in portfolio analysis and consulting roles at RSM US LLP, Vanguard, Raymond James, and Wilshire, graduated from Temple University with honors, passed the CFA Level I exam, and I'm working toward my MBA. I started Green Sapling because I know how much of getting ahead here comes down to simply knowing who to ask — and I want to be that person for the next family doing this for the first time.
\nNot legal advice. Not a shortcut. Just someone in your corner who already walked the path.\n
